{New Designs}

Here are a few new designs.  Keep in mind that these are burp clothes (great baby gifts!) but these designs can go on anything.  I love making shirts for my kids to match shorts.  Target and Old Navy have tons of cute plaid, striped and polka dot shorts.  I can match just about any shorts to pair with a shirt and you have a boutique outfit for WAY less!  Blank shirts are available at target, old navy and *sometimes Walmart.  In the last, I have loved the Walmart shirts, but they don't seem to have as many this year.

Cute Raggy Caterpillar

Very cute Elephant.  I did this in girly colors on a shirt for Ellie.

Fishing Lure- I can't wait to put this on a shirt for Mason!

We're on Facebook!

Initial Reaction has taken a small turn.  Since I started this blog, I have been flying somewhat solo.  HOWEVER, I have to credit my mom for getting me into sewing and teaching me all I know.  My mom, Judy, has retired now and has decided that she would like to dedicate more time to sewing, embroidery and applique.

She and I are now in business together!  So we are officially OFFICIALLY taking orders and we hope to get things really cranking.  We have a fan page on Facebook so be sure to visit us there.  Initial Reaction on Facebook

I have several ideas for things I want to do for my kids so be sure to check back soon for some pictures!

Applique Name Shirt

I was really happy with how this shirt turned out.  My ability to do names is limited to my 5x7 hoop size.  This is just about the longest name I could do.  I think letters or initials are also really cute.

A Few New Things

I have been very busy lately.  I have so many friends who are expecting babies and I have been working hard on baby gifts. It seems like everyone is having boys.  I have tons of girly designs and fabrics too, though!  Here are a few cute things I have done lately:

A Little More Information...

A little about me for those who don't know...
I am a working mom of two fabulous kids. I have a wonderful husband who very much supports my sewing addiction hobby. I started sewing because I love cute kids clothing and I wanted to make things for my kids. My mom actually got me started with the embroidery thing and she and I do this little business together. She is retiring next month from her "real" job and hopes to start sewing more.

We also have a few things from time to time such as bags, sippy cups and coffee mugs that can be personalized. (I'll get that list up too!)

Is Anyone Still Out There?

After a long long looonnngg break from sewing, I am BACK! It's been a very busy time for my family and sewing was just one of those things that I just could not work into my schedule.
Our house is finished, although far from complete, and I finally have the time and SPACE to do some sewing and I could not be happier.

I am so excited about my new sewing and craft space! My dreams for this blog are to not only share my sewing project, but also some home decor projects as well.

I have many many new designs for applique. I am hoping to get started very soon on some Easter things for my kids and I will certainly share those here. We also seem to be experiencing a baby BOOM so I have several baby gifts that I am working on. For now, here are a few things I have done this week.

I'm not sure anyone is still reading besides my mom, so if you are reading, let me know!
I did this on a onesie for a new baby girl. This is my new favorite design.

Another onesie but I have made these shirts for my little girl and they are so cute!
